MOSAIC MIRROR

4 week class / 2 hrs. ea
You will learn cutting techniques, placement of glass, adhesive choices, and design and color techniques.  A pattern will be provided or you can design your own.  It's so much fun and very rewarding. Begin thinking of your favorite colors!

GLASS FUSING FOR FUN
$55 all supplies included
1 class - 1 ½ hrs.
Tuesday’s or by appointment
Learn basic skills in warm glass and create small tiles for mosaic accents or art jewelry.
Advanced classes are also available for $85. Includes learning to use the dremel.

PULLED ART – MIXED MEDIA FUN new
$85 all supplies included

4 week class / 2 hrs.ea
This is a fun class where students will be using a varied of mediums including, brown paper, pencils, watercolors, colored pencils, stamps and mixed medium collage. Learn new techniques using materials that you already have at home.
Do you remember as a child finding objects in the clouds? This is basically what PULLED ART is about. It’s not complicated. Maybe you have even done this before?
Your shapes will be whimsical and funky. You will not be striving for perfection but objects.
You will learn about design and color, recycling art, using what you have on hand and to just let go!

If there is a project that you have been wanting to do that is more advanced, let me know , we can make that happen! An example would be a table, window, portrait, or mural.  I highly recommend that you take the beginner workshop first, before attempting a large project.

NEW Advanced $85 - 2 classes. You will create from start to finish a jewelry piece. Learn how to drill holes into glass for bail attachments, best adhesives to use and also you will assemble jewelry item of choice. * Please see back of schedule or below for more information.

Now offering, a chance for you to continue your love for glass without having your own kiln. I prefer that you be a past fusing student of mine to take advantage of this offering.
Studio time with glass included (scraps for jewelry or tiles) $45 by appointment 1 hour no instructor.  You will work in my studio on your own.

Firing pieces that you bring in: $25 up to 10 small pieces. Ready on Tuesdays.

Mosaic Art Now has a blog! I thought I had announced this wonderful news, but it seems that's all I did...think it! Bill, Michael and Nancie are doing a fabulous job keeping us up to date with beautiful mosaic articles and photos. You don't want to miss this blog if you are a mosaic lover. We are moving the studio to a new building soon which we are really excited about. Art Camp for Teens and Preteens

Children's Art Camp!

Ages 10 to 18
...Three separate sessions... $125.00 each session

Monday, June 8th through Friday June 12th. cancelled

Monday, June 22nd through Friday June 26th.

Monday, July 13th through Friday July 17th.

Classes meet from 2pm to 4pm each day on the week.

We will work in acrylics and gouache. Learn color mixing, pouring's, collage and printmaking. One day of classes , we will be making a mosaic sun catcher to take home. Creativity is encouraged and drawing skills enhanced.

This is one of Laurel Skye's techniques that she uses in her mosaic creations. This is a great way to learn cutting techniques, that beginners can even do. It's so much fun and very rewarding.
