STAINED GLASS MOSAIC SUNCATCHER WORKSHOP offered in the Summer

The above piece was shown on HGTV’s “That’s Clever!” featuring Laura K. Aiken.
This is 4-5 hour class (two separate days) will cover all the basic information that you will need to complete at least one large or two to three small projects. This class is for beginning students who want to learn the process of a mosaic piece; cutting, adhesion, (stained glass) tile layout, and grouting. Students will complete a mosaic glass piece and most of all introduce them to the beautiful possibilities of mosaic art. You will be thrilled with your art!
The second class will be for cleaning and pouring of epoxy.

GLASS FUSING WORKSHOP Starting February 21, 2009

Participants will learn how to make colorful and vibrant cabochons* or glass inclusions for use in their mosaic work or to actually wear as jewelry. Each student will create 5-7 pieces that will be fired and delivered back to the studio for pick up. I also offer mailing them to you for the cost of postage.
This is a 2-hour class.
No experience necessary. Just have fun!
Groups are welcomed

MOSAIC SIGNAGE WORKSHOP with TILES

Students will learn the basic mosaic skills. This project makes a great gift or home accent. You will finish with a framed address sign (6″x12″) or design of your choice. Come prepared with an idea to make the most of your time. This is a 6-hour class on two separate days. The second class will be for cleaning, grouting and framing your work.
